Since July 2023, Rense has joined our team as Assistant Training & Quality Management. With a background in retail and experience in logistics planning, Rense brings with her a wealth of organisational talent. At Elektrolas, she is the driving force behind our training and certification processes. From acquisition and planning to managing materials and records.

Attention and care
Rense's working day is a ballet of balance and precision, ensuring that all training and certifications run smoothly and all customer needs are handled with attention and care. ‘My responsibilities include not only contacting our customers, but also transferring information to Elektrolas’ welding instructors and welding engineers. So that everyone involved is fully informed.’

Penchant for structure
What typifies Rense is her ability to combine a personal approach with an almost ‘autistic’ penchant for structure - a term she uses affectionately to describe her passion for order and efficiency. ‘At home, they also find this order. The mugs all face the same way, the cold water glasses are on the fridge side and the coffee cups by the coffee pot. By organising it as efficiently as possible, you create the shortest turnaround time.’

Open communication
Rense prides herself on creating an environment where our customers feel supported and valued. ‘As much open communication as possible and a low threshold for asking questions are the principles I strive for,’ she says. Her goal is to foster an ‘us knows us’ feeling, where every customer knows they can always come to Elektrolas with questions.

Her previous experiences, from planning all seasonal changes at Action branches to managing logistics at Maton, have prepared her excellently for the challenges at Elektrolas. 

Mentality
Outside work, Rense enjoys reading, painting, rollerblading and being creative. ‘I enjoy setting out complete treasure hunts for my children. And every now and then I still trim a dog. I also have those papers in my pocket.’ This creativity and love of detail also find their way into her professional life, where she constantly looks for ways to improve and innovate services.

Elektrolas' forward-thinking, tackling and follow-through mentality therefore appeals to her greatly in the company. ‘Elektrolas is a leading company that can offer everything in welding, always keeping in mind the needs of our customers.’
